Allowances are weekly. The “about a month” figures multiply a week by 52 ÷ 12 and are only there to compare plans. A yearly plan costs ten times the monthly price.
How videos and tokens work
Two separate weekly balances. They are never converted into each other or into money.
New videos
Each new video uses one video from your week. Length and format do not change the price.
Edit tokens
For changes after a video is made: new narration, new clips, plus ideas and audits.

Your week renews every Monday at 00:00 (Amsterdam time). Leftovers do not carry over.
What each task uses
You see the price and approve it before anything runs. A task that fails, or a video you stop, gives everything back.
A Studio voice on a video: + 50 tokens. Returned automatically if another voice narrated the video.

The rules, in full
The same rules for every customer, everywhere.
- The week renews every Monday at 00:00, Amsterdam time. The app shows the moment in your own time zone. There is no pro-rating: a plan started on a Sunday gets a full week, then a fresh one on Monday.
- Leftovers do not roll over. Whatever is unused at the reset is gone, and it cannot be exchanged for money.
- Quotes are valid for 10 minutes. The price is shown and approved before a task runs (quotes valid 10 minutes).
- Failed or stopped tasks are refunded. A task that fails, or a video stopped before it finishes, gives back its video and tokens.
- A finished draft you discard stays counted, because the work was done.
- Extra videos and tokens from top-ups and gift codes are used after the week’s allowance, and only while you have a plan.

Each offer is once per person, checked by email, computer, phone and payment card, and cannot be combined with other offers.

14-day withdrawal for EU and UK customers
If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, you can withdraw from your first paid plan purchase within 14 days, with no reason needed. Because your plan starts right away, you pay only for the share you used.
refund = amount paid × (1 − the larger of your video share and token share used), rounded down to the cent
A share is what you used since paying, divided by the weekly allowance times the weeks in the paid period. Your plan ends when you withdraw. Each top-up pack has its own 14 days and is refunded in full if none of its videos were used. A renewal does not start a new withdrawal period, and outside the 14 days there are no refunds for part periods or unused allowance.

Is there a free plan?
No. Starter comes with a 7-day free trial (card required); cancel before it ends and you pay nothing. Creating an account and building templates on this site is free.
What is the difference between videos and edit tokens?
A video is used each time you make a new video, whatever its length or format. Edit tokens pay for changes after a video is made (new narration 15, replacing a clip 10) and for planning tools (video ideas 8, story hooks 12, an analytics audit 25). Re-rendering is free.
What happens when I run out?
Videos and tokens come back on Monday. Need more videos sooner? A top-up pack adds 10 videos for $9; they last 12 months and are used after your weekly videos. Tokens are not sold separately.
Does a failed or discarded video count?
A failed task does not: if a task fails, or you stop a video before it finishes, its video and tokens come back automatically. A finished draft you discard does count, because the work was done.
Do Studio voices cost extra?
Yes. A Studio voice adds 50 edit tokens to a video. The tokens come back automatically if another voice ends up reading it.
Can I change plans?
Yes. Upgrades, downgrades and switching between monthly and yearly open Stripe’s page, which shows the new price before you confirm. An upgrade counts this week’s use against the new plan’s allowance straight away.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Cancel under Plan & Tokens, Manage billing. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for and then does not renew.
What is the difference between gift codes and discount codes?
Gift codes add videos or tokens to your account; redeem one under Plan & Tokens, Have a code? Discount codes take money off at Stripe checkout and cannot be combined with the free trial or the first-month offer.
