A country vs country comparison video maker on real numbers
Head-to-Head is a country vs country comparison video maker that keeps score honestly. Two countries face off on real World Bank numbers, one statistic per round. Viewers pick a side, the values count up, and the winner is worked out from the numbers on screen, in one of six designs.

What Viducia does
The steps the app’s live build view shows while your Head-to-Head video is made. You approve the price before the first one; if any step fails, the video and its tokens come back.
-
Setup
Reads your template: countries or a region, matchup style, difficulty, statistics, design and theme.
-
Statistics
Takes the latest value and its year for each statistic from World Bank Open Data, for a reviewed list of about 70 countries.
-
Matchup
Picks a fair pair and orders the rounds for suspense: no repeated statistic, comparable years, no visible tie. The same pair does not return for about four months.
-
Fighters
Fetches both flags and a checked photo of each capital’s skyline. If no photo passes, the flag becomes the backdrop.
-
Voice
Formats every number the same way on screen and in the voice, then records the lines.
-
Scenes
Renders the intro with its VS slam, each round’s values counting up, the scoreboard and the final score.
-
Sound
Adds the design’s sound palette and a music bed.
-
Assembly
Recomputes the winner from the displayed values, adds captions and the World Bank credit, then sends it to your Review Queue.
What the finished video looks like
30 to 60 seconds; each round runs about 7.5 seconds, 2 more with the countdown. Vertical 9:16, rendered at 1080 × 1920 by default.
- Intro VS slam
- Round 1 pick a side
- Round 2
- Round 3
- Round 4
- Final score or you decide
- Each round
- The statistic and its data year, a pick-a-side pause, both values counting up, then the point
- Ending
- The final score and winner, or “you decide”, then “Comment A or B” and the credit “Data: World Bank”
- Numbers
- One wording on screen and in the voice: “124 million”, “$1.2 trillion”, “84.0 years”
- Prompts
- None: the designed ending does that job
Where the facts and photos come from
Every number from World Bank Open Data (CC BY 4.0), shown with its year.
- Both countries need each value from years no more than 2 apart, and the winner is recomputed from the numbers shown.
- Flags come from flagcdn.com; capital-city photos are vision-checked to show the city with no watermark.
- Sensitive pairs never meet, and a topic that cannot be honoured is explained to you.

Questions about Head-to-Head
More in the full FAQ, including videos and tokens.
Where do the numbers come from?
From World Bank Open Data (CC BY 4.0): the latest value and its year for each statistic, for a reviewed list of about 70 countries. Every number on screen shows its year, and the video credits the World Bank.
Can I choose the countries?
Yes. One country plays in every video, two set the matchup, such as Japan vs Germany, and a region keeps both sides inside it. Left empty, each video gets a fair matchup, and the same pair does not return for about four months.
Which statistics can it compare?
Population, Size, Economy, Income per person, Life expectancy, Online, Forest cover, City life, Exports, Health spending, Crowding, Mobile plans, Over 65s, Protected nature, Farmland and Air travel. Pick at least three for a template.
How is the winner decided?
From the numbers on screen. The code recomputes the winner from the displayed values before anything is voiced, so the score always matches what viewers see.
